TRIBUTES – Pulse exists in various formats.
The Gallery version consists of a 7.1 surround sound production to be installed in expo venues, art festivals and private galleries. The commercially distributed Blu-ray is being used for this purpose. A 7.1 surround sound system is required, as well as a screen and a HD 1080p projector. Film format is 16:9.
Performers on the Blu-ray are the composer’s trio Kundi Bombo.
Permission and license for gallery screenings are obtained directly from the producer Edition·S – music¬sound¬art.
For the first presentation of TRIBUTES – Pulse in June 2011 in Copenhagen, the renowned furniture designers Montana had designed and constructed a gallery pavilion based on their GRID modules, covered with mirror steel plates. Inside, the pavilion was equipped with a new prototype 7.1 sound installation, made especially by Montana for this presentation. The Pavilion was inaugurated on June 16th, 2011.
